Q: Does distilled water rob the body of the essential minerals?

A: There is no truth in the statement that distilled water can leach healthy minerals from the body. Rather, distilled water flushes out impurities that otherwise would accumulate in our tissues, bones and muscles. It only collects minerals that have already been rejected by the body. Q: Don't I need some of the minerals form tap water?

A: our body cannot use the majority of minerals found in water because they are inorganic. Instead we get our essential minerals from the food that we eat. If you wanted to obtain the Recommended Daily Allowance of calcium, iron or magnesium from water, you would have to consume hundreds of glasses of water daily.

Q: Does distilled water taste different?

A: If you are person who is accustomed to drinking chlorinated water, and you are suddenly introduced to distilled water, you might think that it "tastes funny". Actually, distilled water is tasteless, and this might take a little time to get used to, as it is the additives in tap water that you are accustomed to tasting.
